The organization acknowledges that education is a key catalyst for stronger, safer, and healthier communities. However, since August 2021, the political situation in Afghanistan has significantly worsened.
To address these challenges, Ponts per la Pau offers an ongoing humanitarian assistance program operating from Catalonia. This program supports vulnerable individuals and families beyond education, providing psychosocial support, healthcare, women’s hygiene, food security, and shelter. Additionally, recreational and learning workshops are conducted, creating alternative spaces for personal growth and education. The organization establishes reading clubs and libraries to promote learning and expand knowledge. Finally, Ponts per la Pau carries out programs for women entrepreneurs, including training workshops, micro-financing, and the establishment of small businesses led by women.
